PODCASTS: 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

 

For the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November and the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (GBV), we launch a campaign on Covid 19 and GBV as there is a lot of evidence pointing at an increase in the prevalence of GBV during the global pandemic.

In a 9-part podcast series, Clara Ituero, Global Gender Advisor for Action Against Hunger, speaks with colleagues from across the network to find out how Covid 19 has impacted GBV in some of the contexts where we work, and what Action Against Hunger is doing to incorporate GBV mitigation in its interventions.

EPISODE 9: OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES (ENGLISH)

 

We are at the end of the series of podcast for the commemoration of the 16 days of activism against Gender Based Violence with an interview with Rawan, gender officer in Occupied Palestinian Territories. She will guide us to understand how GBV was impacted by Covid 19 in the blockade and human rights violation context of OPT.
