Final evaluation of the AFD-funded PROSSAN project
The MEAL Team evaluated Action Against Hunger’s three year project PROSSAN in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Cote d’Ivoire. PROSSAN aims to strengthen health systems and services and to improve health practices of vulnerable groups including women and adolescents. The final evaluation was conducted in May 2022 at the conclusion of the project in order to generate recommendations to feed into the second phase of PROSSAN and to foster greater learning between the three countries of implementation.
The thematic focuses were Nutrition, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods and Advocacy. In-person data collection was conducted in Sierra Leone and Cote d’Ivoire through focus groups discussions and key informant interviews with Action Against Hunger staff, partners, government officials, health staff and beneficiaries. Remote data collection was used in Liberia.
