Webinar: Behavior Change Management in communities

A webinar from Dr. Pawankumar Patil on the KSME Model of Behavior Change Management in the communities, for Learning Week 2019.

Dr. Pawankumar Patil will share his expertise on the Knowledge Skills Motivation and Enabling Environment (KSME). Dr. Pawankumar Patil is an artist, a physician, a public health scientist and also a TEDx speaker. Currently, Dr. Patil is an HOD of Research, Innovation, Design and Evaluation at Action Agains Hunger, India and trying to improve nutritional and Health status of communities in different states of India. Previously, as a co-investigator for one of the largest research projects in newborn health with Community Empowerment Lab (CEL), Dr. Patil’s team has designed and is implementing, a behaviour change intervention package of improved newborn skin-care practices in rural communities. In December 2015, Dr.Patil and his team were awarded by World Health Organization, for developing a unique software for physicians to code verbal autopsy, which is currently being used in 8 countries.
