West Africa Regional Strategy 2016-2020

Action Against Hunger’s West Africa Regional Strategy for 2016-2020

Action Against Hunger has been working for 35 years to fight undernutrition and support communities affected by crisis across the globe. In 2015, we reached 14.9 million people worldwide, nearly a third of which were in West Africa.

Our West Africa strategy for 2016-2020 frames and directs Action Against Hunger’s work in the region. It is intended to guide our activities in West Africa, taking into account the region’s specific context and trends while remaining aligned with Action Against Hunger’s International Strategic Plan for 2016-2020. While this strategy represents Action Against Hunger’s broad objectives across West Africa, country offices working in the region also have their own national strategies based on the specific activities most relevant to their individual objectives. The progress and impact of strategies at all levels are monitored annually against Action Against Hunger’s international indicators.
